Film911 has been on and off for quite some time now, at least a good four years. He (finally) has now made a more permanent site instead of using Blogger, disappearing for months on end only to reappear for a couple of months before disappearing into obscurity again.

As a gay man myself, I actually don't think he's attractive because as far as I'm still aware, he's still a dickwad. He has had some previous questionable interactions with some HBP users off the site (can't remember who, this was a really long time ago) and for someone who once charged $100 for a video, I still can't quite trust that the price won't go back to that.

Well, his sense of "play doctor" is quite loose. The scenes are mostrly "straight" guys giggling like little girls or forced dialogue. But I remember a few old videos, one with Andrew comes to mind, where the two guys "played stething" and it was somewhat interesting. The reality is most of the videos will continue to involve nudity. The production value is more expensive but they retail for more money... and the sexual side of all this is more appealing. It would be like heartbeatbabes made videos showing tits and others with tits covered, probably the second ones would dissapear eventually. For me, the real issue continues to be the incoherent pricing. You can't expect to charge the same price for a 12 minute video and a 40 minute video.  There's no correlation.

And it has been a loooong time, not 4 years. I remember him trying to sell videos in the yahoo groups, way too expensive also. I had an interaction with him at the time and it was not pleasant, he didn't liked my criticism about the issue of pricing and ended up insulting me. I don't remember anything out of that in terms of interacting.I have chatted with him a few times now and he's changed a few points of view, the proucts are somewhat better... but it's still bad that there's not some regularity on updates or pricing. For example, if it had regularity he could sell subscriptions at a reduced price that would signify a steady income. e tried to do that a few months ago, selling a monthly subscription for the price of a regular video that gave you access to one video per month... so, it was the same as paying for the video, with another name.

Imagine sites like SeanCody or MenatPlay charging you per video exclusively and varying so much in quality... those sites are huge of course, but they got to be huge by standarizing their videos and adjusting the pricing. I think that's what makes a video fetish site succesful.

But probably you're right, I don't see those changes in the future...

Oh well, Film911 was forbidden on "the other place" but I guess we can chat about it here more freely, without being completely explicit I guess, no need to talk about details. Maybe the owner will eventually join here and we'll get bigger and better contents.

Well, I have to confess... being a very specific kink is not really easy to find a site that caters to our needs in terms of heartbeat "porn" (I use quotation marks cause it's not always sexual... i mean, most of the videos of Film911 are from guys stethign each other, excercising or playing doctor, not every time we get nudity on them), i have bought several of the videos. At first the videos were quite short (and expensive) but it was so new I just had to buy a few. Then, with suggestions and what not the videos improved a lot, specially regarding the sound and the lenght (wich for me cut the price down as well... it's not the same to pay u$S20 for a 12 minute video than paying it for a 26 minute video with two angles or two sound mixes totalling over 40 minutes. So, I bought lots of those for a while...)

But, eventually, they started to have a few new problems.
First of all, they became quite boring, very repetitive... always the same scenes (the guy running or excercising, then stething, more excercise, more stething, doctor scene, then end).
Second, the lenght... with the excuse of dual audio mix the videos have been cutting short again. Instead of two audio mixes of 20 minutes we get two of 10 or less.
Third, the pricing is incoherent. I mean, i know it's a small niche and the production value is high. But the pricing is inconsistent... or rather way too consistent. You pay the same amount of money for a video of 15 minutes than for a video of 40.

Regular videos
Connor and Mike, awesome video, 35 minutes (dual audio mix, so it's really 17 minutes of new content) = U$S19,95
Gage................................................, 17 minutes (dual audio mix, si it's really 9 minutes of new content)= U$S19,95

(You might wonder if Gage's videos is awesome... I don't know, I don't think i'll buy it, too little for too much

Nudity videos
Adam Heartbeat, awesome video, 43 minutes (dual audio mix, so it's really 21 minutes of new content) = U$S34,99
James Heartbeat,.........................., 12 minutes (doesn't say if it's dual mix)........................................... = U$S34,99

(Not going to buy James's video... way too much
