So, around the second week of June, I woke up having difficulty breathing, persistent coughing, and I can feel chest pains.

I think around 3 hours later I was sent to the hospital for a check uo...it was my first time to have a pulse oximeter used on me. It's a cute little device. I didn't get a good look at it but my heart rate seems to be around 84 something.

And then the result was in: my asthma have came back.

Then after that I was prescribed some medicine. One was administered via injection. The other was the nebulizer.  It was supposed to calm me down but I think it did something else.

It was kind of hard to ignore how fast and hard my heart was beating to the point that I strongly suggested to my mom that I have my heart checked too. So we put in a request for ecg.

The first time experience has gotten me a bit nervous, and the tiny electric currents felt uncomfortable XD.

The results came back with no anomalies found, but in the end I had to sit out and rest to calm my heart. It was no fun, being so hyperaware of it. And yea it kept me from sleeping lmao.

The end. Hope this narration wasnt too messy/hard to follow

But have you ever just watched her sleep?

I wish, so far I’m always the one falling asleep first. :P

It helps if the people you're talking with are already interested in human biology (& not squeamish). For people who are in highschool/college, being in a lab class where you're dissecting sheep/pig hearts would be an easy place to talk about hearts.

That aside, heartbeats are often associated with romance, so you can talk about the heart in the context of love/emotions.

This is a long and fun one.

The file starts just after I finish a fairly intese burst of activity on my exercise bike. The first six minutes are recovering after the previous exercise. At about 6:30 I start pedaling again, fairly slowly at first, then accelerating to the quickest pace I could keep up until I stopped at 10 minutes. After a quick push and a breath hold, I rested again, for the rest of the file.

The sound of your blood inside of him as he pounds away is absolutely beautiful. :) he sounds so big and strong

Curious cardiophile question, where do you keep/hide your stethoscope. I’m pretty generic mines in my night stand.

Postman bag in my clothing cupboard, behind a pile of jeans.

Mine is also in my nightstand.

Bottom of my wardrobe

Usually in one of the drawers in my dresser or on top of the bookcase in my room. I’m not really worried about keeping it hidden (though admittedly that’s mostly because I keep track of my blood pressure thanks to a less-than-ideal family history).

Drawer by my bed

I keep mine in my little black bag, but I live on my own

Depends. Usually either next to my bed or in my backpack if I took it somewhere recently.
