EA Games: Challenge Everything that makes games worth playing

You guys been keeping up with the insane amount of EA drama lately? Lootboxes and gambling turning games that already have a $60+ price tag into Pay-to-Win games? Crazy stuff. They've gotten so much negative backlash but they haven't given an inch. They faked an inch, but they haven't given it.

I've been paying attention, but I wasn't buying Battlefront anyway.

You're right though. They postponed the inevitable: loot boxes, microtransactions, and paid upgrades are here to stay. They are too profitable.

Unfortunately. They went and removed them for the moment because of all the backlash, but they made it clear they have every intention of adding microtransactions back at a later point. Probably a bit after the holidays when the hate has settled down and the people who were on the fence it have gone past their refund dates.

And they wonder why they're consistently voted one of the worst companies in the nation. They just don't give a fuck.
