Just got off the mountains in Colorado, currently staring at the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Fantastic views all around. Pretty burned and bitten though

Also oh my gosh that altitude. I don't think my heart dropped below 75bpm the whole time.

I have been working towards finishing this Master's Degree in counseling, after this course I have one more left and so I am also getting ready for my clinical part of it.  I am glad to be at the tail end of the academic piece.  When I am done with this I am never setting foot in another school again as long as I live.

On a business trip this week and into next. Horrible headache, as per usual when sleeping in a foreign bed. Pillows at this hotel pretty much suck, so I may have to go shopping.

At the moment I'm splitting my time between clearing out my emails, studying, a little bit of gaming, getting really excited about the electronic stethoscope I've ordered (waiting to be picked up from the post office tomorrow) and getting my head around how I'm going to examine the volunteer I've managed to find for a very basic abdominal/lung/heart exam...and how I've suddenly plucked up the courage to ask in the first place!!

Woke up this morning and absolutely nobody was home and all the other vehicles were gone. Wandered around until I eventually put the pieces together that everyone else still has a normal day today while I'm already off for thanksgiving break.
