Other sites

Note: This thread has been made with the blessing of Chira, so should be hopefully above board.

What other cardiophile-oriented sites are there other than this one?

Please put a link up if the site is still around.

Re: Other sites

There's The art of a heartbeat, put up by a tumblr user by the same name, but the last post was August 2016.

Is

is there nobody else? That's a little sad. It's not a community, but I did find this wiki that made for some interesting reading. They have a bunch of example ECGs for basically everything.

Re: Other sites

Just found this little place. heartbeatlovers.com. It's dead now, but you can see the homepage on archive.org. No actual content in it got archived. And it was up as recently as 2016 which is really infuriating. If I'd found out about my love for heartbeats a few months earlier I might have been able to save a few bits and pieces. Or 11. That's literally all there was, just 11 posts.

I guess it's no use crying over spilled milk, though.

The owner of the site might have a backup copy, if you could figure out where to send them a message. :p

Re: Other sites

I thought I found another site but this morning I'm pretty sure I only dreamed about it. Which is weird, I can't remember the last time I dreamed but now I got this.

Don't know/remember the address, I just found it through heavy internet searches.

Speaking of, I found some more sites. None of them resemble the one from my dream, which looked basically like heartbeatlovers.com but significantly less dead.

The Heartbeat We Long to Hear - A site with some woman's story about how she's into heartbeats. Trigger warning: she appears to be a fair bit religious and includes some hallelujahs in there. There's some audio in here. Lots of surveys.
See My Heart - Site dedicated to ultrasounds by the American Society of Echocardiography.
Advice for My Daughter - A sweet one-off blog post from mother to daughter about watching her in her sleep.
Cardiovascular response to exercise - Another article from cardiophile.com I thought was interesting.
Fashion's Fire - This isn't related to hearts in any way, shape or form. But somehow it came up in my searches and it's... something, alright. Enjoy. Or don't.
Heartbeat Fetish - Tiny blog with a handful of videos.
Cardiophile.mobi - Practically empty blog with some decent heart info.
Heartbeat Underground - LiveJournal blog for someone with a heartbeat fetish.

Re: Other sites

Alright I just found something pretty significant. It's a site called Cardio Files. It's not a cardiophile place, more of a community for people to ask about heart things in general. But it looks quite active still. About comparable to ourselves or HBP.

Re: Other sites

That heartbeat network looks really interesting. Why hasn't it got more attention? Was it just not advertised? Should we be advertising this place more than we are? Other than my profile and all my new files on HBP I haven't really seen this place mentioned anywhere.

Re: Other sites

I dislike resurrecting old threads but this seems to be the place to put this bit of news.  Cardioauthors was taken down yesterday by Proboards without any kind of warning and no reason given.  Unfortunately since email addresses of members aren't generally visible its difficult to contact the admins outside of the forum to see if they can appeal.  I suppose that could mean more traffic for Heart2h but still disappointing considering that, as far as I know, none of the terms of service were being violated.  I'm guessing they took offense to the dark/nsfw stuff that was written there but that's just my opinion.

Re: Other sites

Glad to hear it! Always is sad when a site is pulled down without warning and without a trace.
