I like books in physical, they are very comfortable and one can browse them, I like to smell the sheets of a new book and the old ones smell different, my favorite book is the games of the hunger of collins

I prefer books but I also really like those e-ink displays. E-ink displays just look so nice, it's a shame they're so expensive. If the prices ever came down to normal monitor levels I'd buy the HECK out of those. And have you seen the displays that add a third color for accenting things? they just look so nice.
But yeah for reading, I prefer books slightly over ebooks but mostly just prefer something that isn't beaming light directly into my eyes.

Ebook for casual reading. If I am looking at a textbook or reference manual, I need a hard copy.

Yaaas Amazon Kindle PaperWhite yaas.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those rap guys' girlfriends.

I do have a Nook, but I have a strong preference to hard copies. Mainly because I can spend hours reading a hard copy (I've read a 607 page book in a single day lol) But you can't do that with e-books without murdering your eyes.

It does make me wonder why there aren't ebooks that have optional 'no light' settings, like the display on a calculator (or maybe they do exist and I haven't checked).

Well that's the great thing about most e-ink displays, you can shut off the backlight if you want. Stormy's paperwhite can do that at least.

You can turn down the light on e-ink displays. I always match what a piece of paper looks like in the same light and it's nice and comfy.

Ebooks nowadays. Braille books take up a lot of space, I think The Shining was six volumes.
