Hearing, seeing & feeling the heartbeat

Which do you prefer and why? What do you enjoy about each way of experiencing your/someone's heart beating?

I'll add my answer when I think about it some more.

Re: Hearing, seeing & feeling the heartbeat

Definitely like hearing the most. Seeing and feeling are pretty cool in their own way, but they aren't the same as listening. Feeling and hearing are both good ways to fall asleep though. And seeing can be pretty mesmerizing, bit like watching a campfire.

Re: Hearing, seeing & feeling the heartbeat

Hearing is my favourite way to experience heartbeats since I love how they sound. Feeling the heartbeat is a good way (for me) to stay connected to life and reality, while seeing it is fascinating and cool.

All of the above 😊 my heart is super visible and the movement is in sync with my heartbeat which is pretty neat.

Listen, feel and see in that order. Unless of course, her hb is visible. That I love to watch.

I like all three. Usually start with seeing and feeling. Then listening. :)

Re: Hearing, seeing & feeling the heartbeat

All of them are so interesting. If i auscultate someone, i would love to see the visible heartbeat, then i want to put my hand on his/her chest and feel the pulses, and after that i will listen to it.
I have visible heartbeat. I like to see my chest is moving up and down with each heartbeat. I put my hand on my chest and feel the pulses, especially on erb's point, tticuspid area and under my left breast.

Re: Hearing, seeing & feeling the heartbeat

Listen firstly for sure, the sound of a heart beating is so relaxing and mesmerising. Feeling it is cool too, especially when ear stething a particularly strong beat. Seeing is nice, but doesn't really appeal to me as much as the others.

Re: Hearing, seeing & feeling the heartbeat

Obviously for me seeing is the best because of my love for visible beats. Hearing takes 2nd place and feeling takes 3rd.

Re: Hearing, seeing & feeling the heartbeat

I used to lift my clothes, poke my chest with my fingers at the strongest heartbeat between the ribs, and watch my fingers move. When I do this,my heart beats very fast,I think.
