Stethoscope too quiet

So I've gone ahead and bought a littman cardio 4. All excited for the results of it and what it could bring.

But I can't hear shit, just the faintest of sounds.
Are there any tips and tricks?
Am I doing something wrong or is it the littman?

Re: Stethoscope too quiet

You did find how to switch it between bell and diaphragm, didn't you?...
