I met one woman in real life. It was fun listening to each other's hearts in person.

Yeahh, and I realized how awkward it was having people listen irl. Not that it should have come off entirely unexpected considering how awkward I find sharing anyways.
It's not a fashion statement, it's a deathwish.

Never met another cardiophile in real life but I would love to though! I'd let them listen to my heart race (because I bet I'll get nervous when they'll do) And I'd ear steth them because I never did. Could be really really cool to do safe experiments with our hearts!! The only fear I have is that some (most?) cardiophiles are sexual; So being ace, if I have to meet someone, I don't want anything inappropriate to happen... Will always be my main fear.
No, but I have suspicions of a girl I know who MIIIIIGHT be one. There's not enough evidence to prove it though...

It would be the dream of any of us, wouldn't it?
For some reason almost all of us are in the northern hemisphere :'( (it's either that or there might be a serious language limitation in this part of the world), and I have heard of just a few people from down here.
But yeah, sharing experiences and stories and, why not, heartbeats with a fellow cardiophile in real life must be awesome for sure.

The girl in Iowa had a very skippy heartbeat she was pretty cool girl
English Rose Girl had Asthma some time her heart ships because of the Asthma Meds

I met someone from HBP twice. It was a very enjoyable experience. I did have a local friend who knew about my fascination with hearts and indulged me but we had a falling out and I don't see her much anymore. I'd love to meet another fellow cardiophile for some hb fun but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that one. Too spread out.

Almost. Twice. One failed because of logistics and the other because of cold feet (on my part).
This was quite some time ago though.
I hope to in the future have the opportunity again, but I realize it is going to be difficult if not impossible. But that is ok.

This is probably a really dumb question but
What exactly do you guys do when you meet up?

Depends on the comfort zone of both people. Usually dinner or drinks before even thinking about heart-related things.

Well, it's not only the distance but also the compatibility of the interest in sharing/listening... so there's other things to consider like gender, significance of hearts, limits, etc. So yeah, it's very hard...
I had the opprtunity at some point. A european guy was nearby, we met but there was no chemistry. I really didn't felt like sharing or listening with him, it was kind of a bummer. Of course he blamed me and hates me ever since, but well... that's life when people don't wear deodorant haha.

Yes, I was very lucky. I had been talking to a guy who I had met on HBP about 7 or 8 years ago. I actually moved in the same city he lives in and we met up and had a steth session , it was a lot of fun and I gave him an old stethoscope from my collecton and some other good things. It was a lot of fun and we plan on doing it again.

Opportunity is always knocking, but if you wait too long, it's knuckles get sore and goes to another house.

To be clear, I have met a few more via HBP, but haven't met most of them in real life. The ones I haven't met IRL I'm unlikely to ever meet, for various reasons (too far away, they stopped talking to me, etc). Out of all the people I've met through HBP, I only still talk to one, and I don't talk to her frequently (we both have very busy schedules). And I don't think she shares this interest anymore anyway, but she's still a nice person and I still enjoy talking to her when I get the chance. (No, I'm not going to name any names)
And you can relax. I'm not going to bother anyone here. I already know you're not interested.

Several from online and offline
Bit of an update. I'll be meeting a new steth-buddy in a little less than two weeks. Also planning to meet a couple long-time steth-buddies that I've never gotten the chance to meet while I'm on vacation in September.
Trip's finally over, I am home at last, and I ended up meeting a whole 4 cardiophiles. P neato.
