Heartbeat ring

I'm sure a lot of you have probably seen this, but hey.

https://www.thetouchx.com/

It's a ring that shows you the heartbeat of your partner wherever you are. Anybody want one of these? Did anyone manage to get a preorder in?

Re: Heartbeat ring

I hope I'm wrong, but this reeks of a Kickstarter-esque scam.

I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those rap guys' girlfriends.

Re: Heartbeat ring

It does definitely look like that lol. The white/green color scheme they got goin on isn't helping things either. But it looks like they're keeping pre-orderers pretty well updated on everything which is going on, which is nice. Except looking at the updates page I see a very long list of delays which is not so nice.

Re: Heartbeat ring

I saw these...somewhere. I can't remember exactly where though. They are legit, but expensive for what they are.

I think the ones I saw were $2,400 for a pair, but they are available for purchase already.

No thanks, at that price. Cool concept, but not worth that much.

Re: Heartbeat ring

I guess it depends. If you're intending to use it as a wedding band then $600 for a pair doesn't seem too bad at all.
