How do you record your heart rate while sleeping? I do move from time to time like everyone else but sometimes i move a lot more than average. I find it really interesting to see how slow it would be and if the rate changes drastically. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

With as much as I toss and turn, I could never do this. I'd wake up tangled in wires with whatever I was using to record on the floor.

I have the same problem, I just use my phone and sleep on my stomach with the phone pressing into my chest. No wires, but only works for about an hour before I start tossing and turning.

I occasionally sleep hooked up to my ecg monitor, it records a 24h period of vitals trends. I lay out the wires in a way that they won't catch with a bit of movement. Surprisingly though I'm pretty conscious of the fact I'm wired up and don't toss much in my sleep. My other option, if i'm only going for HR data, is to use one of those chest strap bluetooth heart rate monitors and export the data from my phones health app. They aren't as comfortable to sleep with as the wires though.
