Re: how do i record the sound from my steth?

There was someone somewhere asking this exact question, how to record from a steth without damaging it or permanently modifying it. I cannot for the life of me find it or even figure out where I saw it, but the way it ended was:

get some rubber tubing that'll slide over an earpiece from the steth

get a lapel mic

slide rubber tubing over steth earpiece, slide lapel mic into other end

tada you now have a 100% easily reversible steth mic.

EDIT: what do you know, it was ladykris right on here. Turns out I was digging around tumblr for nothing.
