...Is really hard. Especaily on Tumblr where litterly all of the cardio blogs are full of some sort of nudity, porn gifs, heart death (What they call "dark heart fetish"), people begging to be stethed/listened to/have sex/meet up/whatever else. I litterly stumbled across a blog of someone posting nude/topless pics of women and writing some gross shit about how they have a heart attack and die, having sex until cardiac arrest, and lusting to steth/resesatate them. This same person then had the gall to post about how cardiophiles are misunderstood in thier eroticism and dislikes calling women slaves, when if you scroll down far enough, they called a woman a slut in a "story".

So finding a blog with non-overtly sexual cardio content is very hard. HBP may be crawling with creeps, but at least you can filter out the sexual content. This site is still growing, so there may be hope for here to blossom into a safe, non-sexual cardio community.

Yeah, and the SFW cardio blogs that do exist (at least the ones that I've found) are basically dead. A little activity here and there but still.

I dont even know what Tumbler is, outside of medical necessity have never stethed anyone personally, and have no desire to discuss cardiophile porn. I am into hearts for education, health and science and sadly feel I am in the minority.

It likely doesn't help that we're more on the quieter side as well. In my experience, I've generally had a bit more luck going away from the social media aspect and instead going for an education site, or a cardiology resource for a different kind of thing. Unfortunately, many of the ones that I've had bookmarked are dead nowadays, and most of them aren't archived at all, or aren't archived properly, so don't really work, which is a bit of a shame.

Perhaps we could start a list of non-sexual cardiophile resources and suchlike, for those who are curious about the educational side of things.

(Mostly) non-sexual cardiophile here with a Tumblr blog that's committed to being SFW. Sorry I haven't updated it for a long time either, because real life commitments are making it difficult to come up with stuff.

I will say this: I wish it wasn’t sexual for me. Then again, if it wasn’t sexual for me, I'm sure I never would have become so interested in the emotional and spiritual aspects of the heart, and thus would never have written so much about the heart in my poems. I wish it wasn’t sexual, because then I wouldn’t feel so darn uncomfortable and awkward every time something heart related came about. It sure would be nice to talk about the heart without becoming all tongue-tied and freaked out.

The heart may be sexual for me, but I prefer sex and nudity to not be attached to the heart. Sex and nudity distract me away from my focus on the heart, thus taking away my enjoyment of the heart. Don’t get me wrong, I find sex and nudity to be beautiful, but not when it’s pornography. If I desire sex and nudity, I’ll seek out sex and nudity. Likewise, when I desire the heart, I seek out the heart, just the heart. I do, however, enjoy heart related nudity or heart related sexual literature if done tastefully, and if the heart is the theme or focus, not the sex or nudity. It certainly does seem as though everything heart related on Tumblr focuses on sex and nudity, except for things (but certainly not all things—far from that) created by fellow cardiophiles. I got sick of scrolling through pornography and other things I didn’t care to view or read just to find some tasteful things to view and read done by cardiophiles. I have since walked away from Tumblr because all of this was too widespread for me to want to deal with.

I didn't wanna admit it ot come out with it here but...

Its kind of sexual for me. Kind of. But like the person above me, its a lot better when hearts and eroticism such as pornography and nudity are kept seprate from one another. My main point is that most cardiophiles, especaily on HBP and Tumblr, fail to know or see that not everyone veiws it as a fetish or are not into specificly what they are into.

Yeah same. I keep the sexual aspect of hearts and my interest in them separate from each other. There have been one too many times where all I want do is just have a casual chat with someone and share things and the first response I get is something sexual and demanding from them.

Yep. The bookmarks are slightly out of date on some of them, in regards to the titles, but are otherwise more or less intact.

I do find that there is a lot of surprise pornography on the non-educational stuff, though most of the places I look are largely SFW platforms, somewhat thankfully.

It's hard for me when it's not a sexual thing, since most of the time it isn't. Most content is created to be sexual, which is frustrating when you really just want to listen to it for enjoyment. Luckily there's ASMR which kind of fills that need lol

I'm another ace cardiophile that has a non-sexual interest. Rarely it can be sexual, but mostly, it's a sensual thing. Like... I still get reactions that could be construed as being turned on, from an outside perspective. Really it creates the urge to hold and kiss and cuddle someone, all that good stuff short of actual sexual activities. Which, I suppose, can be construed as leading up to sexual activities, but not so much in my case, no matter how into those sensual acts I get. I'd prefer to keep material I consume apart from sexual elements because to be honest, sexual elements squick me very easily!

I, for one, get really frustrated at the amount of images that are just topless women with a stethoscope somewhere in the vicinity of their torso. Sometimes there's at least lacy underwear, but most of the time it's just bare breasts with a bell somewhere near them. I don't want to see soft porn when I look for heart things, thanks!

it would be cool to be able to list this in preferences. i know for me i get frustrated sometimes. i love to listen or share without a lot of chatter. just purely enjoy the sound. often times ill try to do that, close my eyes and focus on the sound. but when i open them the person is like "are you there?....whats my bpm?.....what else do you want me to do? bh? push?" i just sigh and try to indulge them. but man what i wouldnt do to just find those ones who purely enjoy the natural sound of the heart <333
