cardiophile trance

is that a thing? I was browsing along the internet and came across this post on tumblr talking about the origins of cardiophilia. talked about going into a sort of trance listening to "basslines" which I've heard a few people mention before. Is that an actual thing?

Re: cardiophile trance

I'm not sure if I can describe exactly what a bassline is as opposed to other parts of music, but I can say this: any part of music can easily entrance me, just like listening to or watching a heart beating, or watching a neck, abdomen, or chest pulsating can easily entrance me. Even a loud, powerful, racing-out-of-control heart can entrance me--erotic, yes, but entrancing nonetheless.
