Where do you record when you record your heartbeat?
And are there any locations where you won't get any stomach sounds because I'm dying of embarrassment every time I stream.

In my apartment usually.
Oh, and I put the stethoscope on Pulmonic (I think), that's for me the most comfortable site to belt the damn thing to my chest.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those rap guys' girlfriends.

I record my heartbeat at either the mitral or tricuspid. Any other location doesn't record well for me and my heart. If you recorded your heart at the upper limits of your pulmonic region, you MIGHT not hear stomach sounds in the distance. I love hearing stomach sounds in heart recordings; I find them cute, to say the least.

Seems like most unbearably embarrassing things end up being cute to someone so yeah that sounds about right. Guess I'll try not to worry about that then.
And is there some sort of chart that shows where all these locations are? I know where I record but I don't know the name for it and I don't know where any of you guys are recording when you mention their names.

Why? It's not as though you have a blender in there (or do you?), and why not just treat it along the same lines as breathing sounds?

There are a few pictures, seems to be an alright reference

I don't but sometimes if I haven't eaten in a while or if I just ate or idk just for fun sometimes my stomach is loud enough to totally drown out my heartbeat.
And based on that image I'm going to say that most of the time my mic ends up somewhere between the pulmonary valve and the auscultation spot for the tricuspid valve, probably a bit closer to the tricuspid.

That sounds like where I end up recording/sharing a lot of the time - there's a spot between the pulmonic and tricuspid called Erb's Point, in the third intercostal space. I'm quite a big guy so I find the heart sounds are better a little higher up the chest - around the tricuspid/mitral is somewhat muffled for me, even though I can feel it pretty well there (especially when lying down).

It varies between individuals, so you'll have to poke around a bit and see where works best. The image is good as a starting point though.

How come the spot for listening to the mitral valve is so far away from the mitral valve itself? Any ideas?

Might have something to do with how the sound is propagated by the blood flow, or the orientation of the valve.

Skin fold. Underneath are few muscles. One of them being Pectoralis Major, can distrupt actual sound.

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks!

For me I get the loudest heartbeats in the mitral valve. I too was embarassed of my stomach sounds on some of my files but posted anyway. Some people told me that they aren't a big deal and i guess some do find them cute. I also thought the breathing sounds in my exercise file was annoying but others might say otherwise idk. I've been fasting 17hr days and my stomach growls aren't louder than my heartbeat isn't that interesting haha.

I sometimes record in all spots, but generally do tricuspid and mitral.
