Was at the movie theater last night. Saw a preview for the new Flatliners movie. Lots of cardio scenes. Thinking it may be worth checking out.

What's flatliners? Can't say I've ever heard of it, but you saw a trailer at the movie theater so I guess that means it's at least a little big

Essentially a bunch of med students decide to find out what happens when you die by intentionally stopping their hearts, waiting a couple minutes, and reviving each other. I'm more than a little shocked enough people in Hollywood remember that movie to make another one.

Huh. That actually sounds a bit interesting. Did the preview say when the new one was coming out?

I used to have the original movie, but ended up trading it in for whatever reason. I don't know why I did since I usually collect movies with plots that revolve around heart related things and movies with a lot of heart related scenes in them. The original movie wasn't too bad. It was your typical sci-fi thriller/horror movie. Ghosts and whatnot. Keifer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, and Kevin Bacon were in the original movie along with 2 others. The trailer for the remake usually pops up all the time when I'm watching TV. I'm excited to see it, mainly because of the amount of heart scenes that could be in it and because of Ellen Page. She's just really pretty and I would love to see her getting stethed as well as having an EKG being done to her. But I'll most likely wait until it comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray to watch it. Here's the trailer for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUDV0CUzG0k

Welp, looks like it came out. Didn't realize it was going to be a horror type thing, makes me want to see it even more now. Looks like it's even playing in the theatre next city over. Really tempting but I don't think I can afford tickets quite yet. Anyone here seen it yet?

Not yet. May just wait and catch it on a streaming service.

That's an idea, did any streaming services pick up the first one? Can't believe I didn't think to check netflix til now but it doesn't seem to be on there.

I saw flatliners and normally not a big fan of remakes but this movie was actually quite good
