Hey so about 2 seconds ago I was posting a topic about heart-related tattoos and it made me wonder

does anyone in your real life know you're a cardiophile? Like for the people who have it as a fetish I don't really think people go walking around talking about their fetishes to everyone. But at the same time it seems like cardiophilia is like a really important part of who they are, and that seems like the kind of thing you would bring up to friends or SOs or get a tattoo of.

So how about you guys? Does anyone from your real life know?

The only person in my life who knows is my lovely gf who is also a cardiophile. Other than that nobody really knows just because I don't think anyone would care.

My best friend, about 3 other friends (one of whom is also a cardiophile), my current partner, and the woman I am dating.

Might be hard to explain but I don't think it's too hard for people to understand. Seems like a lot of people that aren't cardiophiles still do enjoy listening to their SO when cuddling or hugging or whatever. We just enjoy it a lot.

I tend to keep quiet about it in real life, always hiding my stethoscope and drawings, but I have online friends who know and are completely understanding about it even though they aren’t cardiophiles themselves. They even continue to read my story even though it gets hearty quite often, especially in dark and/or sexual ways.
