When my heart experiences a skip, like a PVC (premature ventricular contraction), it feels like a slight stumble on the stairs but in my chest.
For people who experience them, what do your skipped heartbeats feel like?

I do usually feel mine, but I only get 1-3 at a time during a whole day period. I never have a pause after the skip. A lot of people seem to have that.
Depending on how hard the skip is, sometimes it feels like a little 'twitch' about where the apex of my heart is? I don't know if that's normal or not but I always thought it felt pretty cool.

I can feel mine coming on. I almost know when the pause is going to be. When it happens it kinda feels like my heart swells up or gets big. Then I get a really hard thump on the next beat

Sometimes it feels a little like somebody punched the breath out of me, other times it just feels like I missed a beat or two and then it starts back up like nothing happened at all.

@BIgBlock460 @PlasmaPoppies I've noticed both of these at different times. The twitch ones are definitely PVCs; I've felt those relatively rarely after strenuous exercise. The ones with the swelling sensation are more common (though not that common). I've also had occasions where I just feel a brief floating sensation followed by a much harder beat. However, I can also intermittently induce the swelling sensation with my mind -- but without a hard beat afterward, so I'm guessing those aren't skips.
