Can you imagine lying in someone’s arms at dusk and listening to the sound of their heartbeat? Being so completely and utterly in love with them that the steady thud in their chest is somehow a miracle, drawing you in and reminding you that life is precious. Suddenly, everything is fragile and beautiful. The way the blood pumps through their veins, the way their chest rises and falls; these simple indications of life are so overwhelming. They’re alive and right beside you. They’re in love with you. They’re alive. You’re alive. It’s okay.
Not sure if this is still a thing, but what the hey!

or also when I'm going to take an exam and in several job interviews, to try to look good.
or when you are with a beautiful woman and you do not know what to say, heart beating super fast , it has not happened XD, because to me yes, and I get very nervous about not looking good with that beautiful woman.
This is a fortune from a friend’s lunch that I decided to ask to keep. Its a bit applicable to the cardiophile community eh?
Cosmic Love, by Florence and the Machine. This was one of my favourite songs. In the music video at the beginning and end, there's a heartbeat sound. The lyrics are below
A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes
I screamed aloud, as it tore through them, and now it's left me blindThe stars, the moon, they have all been blown out
You left me in the dark
No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight
In the shadow of your heartAnd in the dark, I can hear your heartbeat
I tried to find the sound
But then it stopped, and I was in the darkness,
So darkness I becameThe stars, the moon, they have all been blown out
You left me in the dark
No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight
In the shadow of your heartI took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map
And knew that somehow I could find my way back
Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too
So I stayed in the darkness with youThe stars, the moon, they have all been blown out
You left me in the dark
No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight
In the shadow of your heartThe stars, the moon, they have all been blown out
You left me in the dark
No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight
In the shadow of your heart
how about extremely nervous beats prior to an interview
That's a familiar (and unpleasant) feeling that doesn't quite go away for me, even though I'm experienced with interviews. I find it also happens when waiting for appointments. I wish they didn't make me so nervous.
