Can you imagine lying in someone’s arms at dusk and listening to the sound of their heartbeat? Being so completely and utterly in love with them that the steady thud in their chest is somehow a miracle, drawing you in and reminding you that life is precious. how about extremely nervous beats prior to an interview
That's a familiar (and unpleasant) feeling that doesn't quite go away for me, even though I'm experienced with interviews. I find it also happens when waiting for appointments. I wish they didn't make me so nervous.
