A quick tour of my heart. Starting at Mitral, moving to tricuspid at 1:30, then to pulmonic at 3:00 and finally aortic from 4:30 until then end. Let me know if you heard anything interesting, or what your favourite spot was :)

(This is uploaded to soundcloud because tumblr thought is was copyrighted music. Hopefully that won’t happen again)

Running usually does it for me. I've been hiking for years, so my heart has kind of gotten used to that effort.

Most excellent!!

Hi :))) Can I ask you how's the sensation of cuddling and hearing someone else's heart without a stethoscope? I mean, can you really hear without a stethoscope? I never do that and I really can't imagine how it is in reality. :)))

sheseverythingtoeveryone:

It’s… different. A stethoscope was created to amplify the specific sounds your body makes, and most of them do that very well. The ear, however, was made to hear all things. Which doesn’t make it better or worse, just different. A stethoscope, in my opinion, can make heart sounds louder and clearer… but I prefer the other way.

When you have your ear to someone’s chest, whether clothing is present or not, you’ve been invited into their space in a way I don’t feel you can achieve with a stethoscope. You’re so close, you can feel them breathe, can feel their heat… there’s a beauty in that level of trust that I love. It’s even better if they’re not wearing a shirt, because there is something inexplicably comforting about skin to skin touch. I really have no idea how to describe that… but I can tell you that before I met my cuddle buddy, I literally had no idea how comfortable and close it feels to be embraced by someone you love and trust, and feel their skin against yours, and hear their heartbeat against your ear. But I’ll try to explain it anyway.

It’s like… it’s like being wrapped in the most comfy quilt you could ever imagine, but also knowing that quilt is sentient and CARES. It wants you to be there, it likes wrapping you up, it somehow needs to keep you warm and safe and happy. It, itself, is pleased when you are happy, and it will do whatever it takes to make sure that when you’re hurt or scared or lonely, you only need look for that quilt. Just hear its heart and feel its quilty arms around you, to know that when you’re all wrapped up everything will be okay. :) And yes, you can hear it from the right positions, quite clearly.

I sincerely hope you get an opportunity to experience this yourself. It is wonderful, but don’t let someone you’re not comfortable with pressure you into it. The results are not the same at all and the first person that ever tried to hold me went too far too fast, causing me to be afraid of things like cuddling and kissing for a very long time. Fortunately the man I met who is my cuddle buddy now is very patient and caring and I couldn’t be luckier or more grateful!

Omg - yes!! I say things on here which would NEVER come out of my mouth in real life… and meeting people who share the same fetishes as me has been nothing less than life-changing ????

100%! So many awesome conversations and people. It has made me a more confident person. ????

Sorry for not having videos for a while now. I lost my mic, so I have to record with my phone untill I got my new mic. This is a file of my heartbeat after smoking a dutch cigaret.

It had been a bit over a week since Kylie and Marissa discovered their mutual fascination with heartbeats. In that time, all Kylie could think about was the pulsing muscle in Marissa’s chest—how euphoric it made her feel hearing it through the stethoscope.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a car horn honking in her driveway. She smiled as she glanced in the mirror, brushing her golden-blonde hair over the back of her ear before heading out the door.
Florida was used to hot summers, but on this particular night it was perfect. It was about 65 degrees, the sun dipping just past the tree line casting an orange glow over the entire sky.

“What took you so long?” Marissa asked with a chuckle as Kylie climbed into the passenger seat of the blood-red Camry.

“Long story,” Kylie replied. Even though it wasn’t that long—she was just too preoccupied with reminiscing about their last encounter. “So where are we going?”

“You’ll see.” Marissa had a strange grin on her face as they backed out of the driveway. As they drove down the road, Kylie couldn’t help but ask a question.

“So have you ever told anyone about…you know…”

“What, the heartbeat thing?” Marissa replied without hesitation. “No, nobody—except for you, that is.” Kylie smiled.

“Same here. I’ve known for years…I just didn’t know how to tell anybody, y’know?” Marissa nodded.

“I’ve hidden it from people for almost seven years. Do you know what it’s like to be 14, in gym class when a girl is talking about how fast her heart is beating after a run?”

Oh, did she ever—Kylie had known about her love for heartbeats ever since she was a teenager.

“Are you going to tell me where we’re going?” Kylie asked again, trying to hide her fantasizing Marissa’s gym class heart story.

“Right here,” Marissa said. They pulled into a parking area on the edge of the lake, the trees leaving just enough room to see the sunset dip below the horizon.

Kylie looked at her with a hint of confusion on her face.

“What do you mean?”

Marissa popped open the glove box, pulling out a rose-gold stethoscope. A lot fancier than the one she had used back at the house.

Kylie’s heart began to race with anticipation. She wanted to do this again? Right here? What if people see them?

“Right here?” she asked.

Marissa nodded. “What, worried that people might see us?”

“Well yeah,” Kylie said, “aren’t you?”

Marissa laughed. “That’s the fun of it—living dangerously. Your heart’s beating a little faster, worried that someone might see you…it’s a rush.”

Kylie had never thought about it that way—and Marissa was right. Her heart WAS beating faster…and she couldn’t hold it in any more.

She slowly slipped her t-shirt off, having momentary second thoughts about being half-dressed in a car out in the open.

Marissa grinned as she put the stethoscope in her ears. She brushed her long brunette hair back over her shoulder as she put the bell on Kylie’s chest.

Thump Thump. Thump Thump. Thump Thump.

Her heart was hammering, both from the sight rush of being out in the open and Marissa’s striking beauty.

“She’s really fast,” Marissa said with a smile. “You want to hear it?”

Kylie nodded and took the stethoscope from Marissa before putting it in her ears. It really was going fast…

“Wow…”

That was all Kylie could manage to say for a moment, before taking Marissa’s hand.

“Here, feel it.” She held Marissa’s hand to her chest.
Marissa’s grin widened as she felt Kylie’s heart pulsing beneath her fingers. She didn’t say a word as she took the bell of the stethoscope off of Kylie’s chest and placed it on her own.

“You see what you do to me?” Marissa said. Her heart was absolutely POUNDING.

Turnabout being fair play, Kylie pressed her palm against Marissa’s lightly-tanned chest. She tried to hide how turned on she was by her racing heart, but apparently she wasn’t doing a good job.

“A little excited?” Marissa said with a smile. She moved the stethoscope back to Kylie’s chest and took the earpieces from her.

Kylie could feel the blood rush to her face. As if her heart could beat any faster, it picked up speed as Marissa slowly slid her hand from Kylie’s bare shoulder down her arm.

Oh God. Where is she going with this?

“Don’t worry,” Marissa said softly, “I just wanted to see how fast it was going to go. You have an amazing heartbeat.”

Kylie could feel a warm, tingling sensation overtake her entire body. She returned the favor, caressing Marissa’s stunning body.

“Take this,” Marissa said, reaching into the glove box again and pulling out a second stethoscope. This one wasn’t as pretty, but it was just as good. Kylie put it in her ears and placed the bell on Marissa’s chest.

THUMP THUMP. THUMP THUMP.

They both sat there for a moment, both lost in pure ecstasy. As far as they were concerned, this is what heaven felt like.

Hello! After lurking around the cardiophilia tags for ages, I’ve finally decided to get involved and make an account. I’m mainly going to be posting audio recordings, maybe a few bits of writing too.

Any of you guys use SoundCloud for hosting audio files? Or YouTube or any other service like that? Or even just here on Tumblr? I’m considering adding embed support to H2H for a few sites to create a better experience (upload once to SoundCloud or YouTube, share it anywhere) but I guess I don’t really know what outside sites are popular for that kinda thing.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

why on earth doesn’t this have more notes

I actually had to do this once. She lived.

Yeah I was working on a story a few years ago that was meant to be a series and its main female protag was named Marissa. Seems interesting though, would definitely try and check it out if you continued.
