I've been in the community since February, but I've had this interest since at least age 12. Origin story available upon DM, but the upshot is my interest is intellectually and physically hedonic in a way that is distinct from a sexual fetish.

When it comes to my particular predilections, I prefer the conceptual (i.e. discussion and wild-caught material found in media) to the sensory (listening), recordings over liveshares (in both directions), and regular beats of any speed to irregular.  Abnormalities tend to invoke a disturbing snarl of concern, curiosity, and "man, glad I don't have to deal with that."

Currently, my cardiophile project is chasing extremes: finding the lowest and highest settings at which my pump can operate and driving them to the ends of the scale. Oh, and I like the occasional machine metaphor. It makes a lovely conceptual seasoning.

When it comes to techniques, I pretty much just do exercise and occasional holds. Pressure fascinates me just a hair more than it scares me, which is why I haven't tried it yet. Asphyxia and stimulants, other than as much caffeine as is in a large cup of tea, are off limits. Within these boundaries, SFW requests are welcome in DMs!

Oh ho! I recognize that story... and believe I'm subscribed to you on youtube? (I'm MAZZ0Murder there). Assuming this is true, then your heart is remarkable and beyond compare. Pretty much have to hear it (WITHOUT a stethoscope) to believe it!

It couldn't have been fun going through all those surgeries. I can't imagine two open-hearts is common, especially at a younger age, so I'm glad your heart made it through and will hope it continues to do so for a long long time. And I am eternally grateful that you share it and your story! :heart:

The Legend of Zelda is my favorite game series. I've had my Wii-U for a long time and it's pretty much loaded with Zelda games I still have to play, though I most recently did the Ballad of the Champions DLC... still have to do all the other goodies!

I did get a Switch Lite and have been playing Sword and SSB Ultimate... even went back to the 3DS to replay Pokemon Gold!

Otherwise I still play, albeit not frequently anymore, Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike :D

I'm new to this site which I somehow evaded for years it looks like? Found it via Tumblr from someone who used to be on HBP.

I tend to fall I to inactivity every now and then. Glad to finally be here!

Listen firstly for sure, the sound of a heart beating is so relaxing and mesmerising. Feeling it is cool too, especially when ear stething a particularly strong beat. Seeing is nice, but doesn't really appeal to me as much as the others.

All of them are so interesting. If i auscultate someone, i would love to see the visible heartbeat, then i want to put my hand on his/her chest and feel the pulses, and after that i will listen to it.
I have visible heartbeat. I like to see my chest is moving up and down with each heartbeat. I put my hand on my chest and feel the pulses, especially on erb's point, tticuspid area and under my left breast.
