I'm working on my file viewing compatibility at the moment, and I need to know if there is anyone on any device anywhere (especially desktops) that can't view files right now. Some reported not being able to view files about a week ago now and they've never responded to any requests for information so I'm taking more of a general approach now to try and track down any bugs left.

Depends on what you mean by unable to view a file. As in it doesn't play, or the player doesn't load?

Well, for me they don't really work. I usually pause them till they're buffered. In this case the files never resume playing, they restart the buffering or they do nothing at all. If I let them play without a pause the buffering is quite slow even thou my connection speed is not bad (not the best either, but doesn't justify the choppy playback). That was last week, haven't tried viewing files since friday.

Doesn't load.

Made some adjustments, can't say they'll help with speed but it should hopefully improve compatibility and maybe fix it not resuming after buffering.

Well, actually it improved the choppy playback. The resuming not so much, still gets stuck, thou I can usually get it to work if i click in the progress bar, but it takes a minute or so before starting. But it's something so it's cool.

As for me I can only view the pictures but I cant view any videos or listen to audio files on my Windows 10 mobile. In the videos it says "error decoding file"

Sorry Chira
Every file states "error in loading". Currently using VLC for playback.

Guys I'm trying to work on this but you have to give me more than "there was an error." I need to know how I can reproduce it myself so that I can figure out how to fix it. I need to know what browser, what OS, and what version of both at a minimum.

that's going to be a tough one, I don't have any access to any W10 mobile phones. Are you using Edge?
Yes I'm using edge. If this is the problem I will look for another browser but this one is pretty good for wp10

Don't worry, you're totally fine! The problem is all mine, it's my job to make my site support the browsers, it's not the users job to be finding a browser that supports my site.

Huh. That was an interesting little trip.
Long story short, I have some code that's intended to make allowances for browsers that behave sorta unexpectedly. When I made this, I accidentally typo'd the bit of code that applied to browsers that behave as you would expect. Turns out Edge is one of those.
Fixed the typo and everything looks good, could some of you confirm this?
